Illiar Privacy Statement

ILLIAR SA ("Illiar") performs all processing duties for personal data belonging to the website's visitors. We respect your privacy and aim to use your personal data carefully and securely, for all purposed required by the law. In this Privacy Statement we describe who we are, how and for what purposes we process your personal data, how you can exercise your privacy rights, and any other possibly relevant information for you.

We have done our best to write all information clearly and legibly. However, if you have any questions about our use of your personal data after reading this Privacy Policy, you can of course contact us at any time. Also, in this Privacy Policy you can read how you can get in touch with us.

Who is Illiar?

We design and build technological infrastructures, offering products related to cryptocurrencies and electronic wallets. Our company is based in Via Magazzini Generali, 14 - 6828 Balerna - Switzerland.

Illiar offers its services worldwide and operates accordingly. Illiar offers different types of services. Concerning the activities described in this Privacy Policy, together with its associated companies, Illiar can be qualified as "Owner" or "Holder", pursuant to the law.

What personal data does Illiar collect from you?

Illiar collects different categories of personal data:

   - Personal and contact details (e.g. name, shipping and billing address, e-mail address,telephone number)

   - Company details (e.g. postal address, VAT number and Chamber of Commerce number)

   - Account details (e.g. username and password)

   - Purchase details (e.g. purchase date and product type)

   - Marketing preferences and related research (for example if you have registered or subscribed for offers via email and/or our research survey)

   - Device information (for example: IP address, browser language and settings, time zone,screen resolution, operating system)

   - Interaction details including images (e.g. contact with our customer service, digital and/or written correspondence and e.g. when uploading images for supporting service requests)

When you purchase a product or service, you may also receive a request to provide payment details. Such personal data will be collected and processed directly by one of our third party payment service providers. These third parties are responsible for processing payment details within the extent established bylaw. Illiar does not have access to your payment details, and such personal data will not be collected and/or processed by us. Therefore, this Privacy Policy does not apply to the process activity mentioned above.

We receive the categories of personal data described above directly from you.

For what purposes does Illiar process your personal data?

Illiar collects and processes your personal data for the execution of the purchase agreements entered into with you, administrative services, provision of our services, communications and marketing (profiled or not), anti-fraud checks, customer service quality verification and for fulfilling all legal obligations.

Performance of a contract. Activating, delivery and (possibly) terminating the purchase contract/s as agreed between the user and Illiar.

Administration. For the execution and monitoring of Iliar's administrative processes towards you.

Purpose of service, communication, marketing and personalized experience. To provide customer service, to make offers (including personalized ones) and/or to provide and share information on Illiar's activities.

Quality and management purposes. Monitoring and improving the quality of services, products, processes and systems, internal reviews.

Legislation and regulation. For identification, anti-fraud checks, performing audits, internal security and compliance with laws and regulations.

On what legal basis does Illiar establish the processing of personal data?

Personal data processing is lawful only when based on one of the reasons listed above. The treatment applied by Illiar is based on three of these legal grounds. Our processing activities take place for the necessary execution of a contract and/or a legitimate interest of Illiar through your consent.

Performance of a contract. We use your personal data to perform the necessary steps before entering into a contract, and to carry out the contract concluded with you.

What interest of Illiar makes the processing of your personal data lawful?

Who does Illiar provide your personal data to?

Group company. We may share personal data with our group companies for the purpose of jointly providing content and products and/or services (such as registration and customer support), development of new products, websites, applications, services, tools and communications and to prevent, track and investigate possible illegal activities, violations of our policies, fraud and/or violations of our data security.

How do we protect your data?

We have taken both technical and organizational measures to protect your data from loss, theft and unauthorized access. We continuously improve our security measures in case of technological advances and developments. We also recommend that you protect your passwords and any electronic media you use, correctly and efficiently.

Is your personal data transferred outside Switzerland and the EU?

If necessary, your personal data is transferred and/or processed outside the European Union and Switzerland. Illiar has taken all necessary measures to ensure that transfers take place only within the limits established by law.

All European countries are bound by the same set of statutory rules. This set must ensure a consistent level of protection when processing personal data within the European Union.

Illiar is authorized to (legally) transfer your personal data to countries on the basis of a so-called "adequacy decision". An adequacy decision is a decision of the European Commission which decides that the country in question guarantees an adequate level of protection of personal data.

The (legitimate) transfer of personal data to other countries will be carried out only after the appropriate guarantees provided by Illiar have been introduced.

How long does Illiar store your personal data?

Your personal data will be removed and/or anonymized once they are no longer needed for the purposes for which such personal data is being processed. Furthermore, we can assure you that Illiar will not store your personal data for longer than permitted by law.

How can you manage your personal data?

You have the right to obtain confirmation of whether Illiar is processing personal data concerning you and, in this case, to request access to an overview of personal data and the correction and/or deletion of them. Does Illiar use profiling techniques?

Illiar wants to offer you the best possible experience, in order provide you with a relevant service tailored around your needs. To make this possible, we group, combine and analyse personal data so that we can determine the most relevant target groups and segments, as well as content, advertising, information, moments and channels.

For our profiling purposes, the following personal data, in alternating combinations, can be combined, analyzed or segmented:

   - Demographic details: this does not concern personal data, but for example data at the geographical level. When demographics are grouped into an individual, the data could become personal data.

   - Transactional details: personal data resulting from a transaction between Illiar and you.

   - Interaction details: personal data resulting from the correspondence between Illiar and you.
